If the New York attorney general starts to take his homes away, starts to seize his assets, it’s all going to be on camera. You’re going to create the greatest victimhood of 2024, and you’re going to elect Donald Trump.

Frank Luntz (CNN polling analyst)

Joe Biden’s problems began when Bill Clinton left Washington in 2001, and normal Democrats followed him out of town. By the time Barack Obama returned Democrats to power, the party had been overrun by the Intersectional Left, who believe America’s legal and socioeconomic order was built on racism. Sadly, these wayward activists were too aggrieved for their own good – tolerance was no longer enough – as they clamored for outright control of America’s cultural and economic agenda.

That Intersectional Left is why Donald Trump is the betting favorite to win the presidency; Biden’s party is unrecognizable to many Americans, who’ve tired of being blamed and shamed by Democrat-backed identity activists. Asked by pollster Frank Luntz why Trump was ahead in the polls, 70% said “because Biden is awful” and only 30% said “because Trump is awesome” (source: Fox News). Former Democrat Sasha Stone explains Biden’s tailspin: “The people in power now can’t solve the problem; they ARE the problem.”

She says “the people at the top” did not have “enough self-awareness” in 2016 to see the REAL problem: “half of America elected an outsider to the presidency.” Rather than pivot to the middle like Bill Clinton in 1994, Democrats claimed 61 million voters were a threat to “our” democracy; thereby justifying seven years of lawfare and ballot harvesting, the marginal returns of which appear diminishing.

Lost in the ballot harvesting of 2020 is the fact that Trump received 11 million more votes than in 2016. Then, Democrats got 9 million fewer mid-term votes in 2022 than in 2018, while the GOP increased its popular-vote share from 44.8% to 50.6% to retake the House (source: Cook Political report). Finally, Biden’s 2020  pre-election 10-point polling advantage is now a 2-point deficit, primarily because he’s dropped 10 points with Blacks, 14 points with Hispanics, and 15 points with young voters (source: Real Clear Politics).

Biden is reportedly angry that low unemployment has not boosted his polling numbers; which are so bad, Democrat James Carville compares seeing them to “walking in on your grandma naked – you can’t get the image out of your mind” (source: New York Times). He blames the loss of traditional Democrats on “too many preachy females. ‘Don’t drink beer. Don’t watch football. Don’t eat hamburgers. This is not good for you. You’re destroying the planet. You’ve got to eat your peas.'”

Carville’s critique is corroborated by what the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Selena Zito heard from former Democrats and Independents in rural and suburban Pennsylvania – who are now putting up “Trump” signs:

“It wasn’t him (Trump). It was the lack of respect they (Democrats) felt in our culture and a perceived loss of power. They saw a diminishing respect for them and their ways of life in the news, in commercials – – their values, loyalties, work ethic, way of life, commitment to family and community were often the butt of a Hollywood joke, or a candidate’s throw away line.”

Denying the feelings of normal voters is political suicide, when America’s cultural super-majority (85%) plans to celebrate July 4th and Christmas this year (source: Pew Research). And to Carville’s point: 77% of Blacks watch the NFL, 80% of Latinos drink beer, and 87% of non-whites drive gas-powered vehicles, meaning “preachy” Democrats probably are THE problem.

The best confirmation of Biden’s troubles is a recent CBS News report: since 2020, Black support for Trump has climbed from 4% to 24%. Democrats have not delivered to Black voters, whose kids attend bad public schools, whose streets need more – not fewer – cops, who compete with immigrants for wages, and whose cars and homes still need fossil fuels. In return for their vote, Biden has offered no-ID voting, a black Supreme Court justice, and salutatory dabs and fist bumps.

Above all, Mr. Biden is paying for breaking his campaign promise to “heal” and “unite” America. Few swing voters  took that to mean reversing Trump’s energy and immigration policies, while demonizing “mega-MAGA” Republicans. Inside his DEI cocoon, Biden hears nothing but “get Trump” – when swing voters want less incivility from EVERYONE.

Biden promised to restore “bipartisanship” but green-lighted the January 6 committee and a second impeachment. And, by my count, not a month has gone be without red states challenging his executive orders in court.

Biden promised to restore “dignity” to the office, when he knew he’d shared classified information with a ghost writer and that Hunter’s laptop was not “Russian disinformation.” His administration has been as oft investigated as any, and that was Joe Biden dissing the seated Supreme Court justices in his last SOTU address – a first for a US president.

Biden promised to return “normalcy” to our nation but issued executive orders opening the Mexican border and inflating the price of petrol. His COVID response disrupted supply chains, forced vaccine skeptics out of their jobs, kept kids out of school, and spent the US into 40-year-high inflation. And what’s “normal” about two money-guzzling proxy wars?

An absence of self awareness, preachiness, lack of respect, and broken promises: those are behavioral problems that get 99% of Americans fired, and the other 1% alienated from family and friends. Which is to say that Joe Biden has lost the best part of the electorate (the ones whose values are squared away). The guess here is that includes you.
