Boy, you really gotta give Joe Biden credit for returning “normalcy” to the Oval Office. Who thinks $7.25 for premium gas is normal? Certainly not working-class motorists in Los Angeles, where Car and Driver magazine reports that’s the going rate at some gas stations. If you’re keeping score at home, this president has re-defined “misery index” for everyday Americans in just thirteen months.

  • Trouble in Iran? Check!
  • Runaway inflation? Check!
  • Russia re-mapping the world? Check!
  • Rising urban crime? Check!
  • Punked abroad by Muslim overthrow? Check!
  • Angry parents at home? Check!

Makes you wish the USA had a parliamentary system with members who’d make Biden stand down. And here’s what’s really frightening – – folks are turning off the TV set because they JUST KNOW the news will be bad.

A desperate electorate is a bad way to enter the mid-terms but that’s where Biden’s left his party. As the price of gas keeps rising, one silver lining becomes more likely: a GOP wave election so big it gives Republicans a super-majority in Congress that can force Biden’s hand.

Hey! A guy can wish, can’t he?
