If the future of liberal politics in America is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), then the Democrat Party is in big trouble. Liberals, of course, say the darnedest things, but AOC pushes that envelope. She takes really dumb and really mean to where politicians should not go. It’s a good thing that other Liberals, such as HBO’s Bill Maher, are calling her out. Get a load of her top head-scratchers.

An Economics degree from BU invited her to tell TV viewers “most of Congress doesn’t know how economics works.” Right before saying “unemployment is low” under Trump “because everyone has two jobs [and] working 60, 70, 80 hours a week” – and authoring the Green New Deal with “economic security for those unwilling to work” and promising to “invent technology that’s never even been invented yet.”

Most of Congress knows if everyone had two jobs and worked 80 hours a week, jobless rates would be higher, not lower. It’s not possible to invent technology that’s already been invented. Most Americans use “lazy” to define AOC’s “unwilling to work” constituents.

What AOC learned in high school Civics is a mystery. She told MSNBC viewers “the idea that a 17-year-old can get an assault weapon, I think, is unacceptable.” Her 2020 campaign cry: “If we work our butts off to make sure we take back all 3 chambers of Congress…uh…all three chambers of government: the Presidency, the Senate, and the House.” Weeks ago, she belittled West Virginia’s senator: “I represent more – just as many or more – people than Joe Manchin does.”

Federal law prohibits anyone under 18 from buying a firearm. There are 2 chambers of Congress and 3 branches of government. Joe Manchin represents 1,800,000 West Virginians and AOC represents 750,000 New Yorkers.

She is woefully over-confident in her millennial peeps, telling them, “Congress is too old. They don’t have a stake in the game.” She blamed “older” Dems for the GOP win in Virginia last November, calling it a “huge bummer” when “moderate Democrats” ran “a super moderated campaign.” After campaign guru James Carville said “stupid wokeness” helped the GOP sweep, she said wokeness is a term “used by older people these days, so that should tell you all you need to know.”

78 million “old” Baby Boomers have “a stake” in Social Security and Medicare. They did beg to differ on cancelling Jefferson and defunding the police – and they turned out to vote – – big time!

Everyone following the politics of COVID heard AOC belittle Florida because of its open-up policies and lack of mandates. Last week, she was maskless in Florida and tweeted, “hasn’t Gov. DeSantis been inexplicably missing for like two weeks?” She got busted on social media – and her response was priceless: “If Republicans are mad they can’t date me, they can just say that…”

AOC was maskless in Florida all over social media, and the state’s governor was “missing” with his wife while she received cancer treatments. Oh, and it’s not hot to claim one is too hot.

Doonesbury couldn’t make up a congresswoman this absurd. Outside her me-my-mine world, everyone is just too old, too stupid, too male, too Christian, too white, or too conservative to get her. Oh, well.
