The thing that everybody needs to understand, even if you agree with the decision to withdraw, the way they have handled this has been a total fucking disaster. It will be measured in bodies, because a lot of people are dying because they can’t get out.”

74 million Republicans deserve reparations (tax refund) for any future ill will that befalls our family or friends. We’re living against our will in an idiocracy, because 79,000 Biden voters did no due diligence. They bought the “competent” leader promise, which we knew meant knee-jerk reversals of Trump policies. Seriously, if 11,000 Arizonans, 13,000 Georgians, 21,000 in Wisconsin, and 34,000 Nevadans had heeded Robert Gates or Barack Obama, Joe Biden would be in some retirement village, instead of the Situation Room.
The former secretary of defense wrote, “He’s been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.” His former boss warned, “You know who really doesn’t have it? Joe Biden. Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f— things up.” (source: Politico). Seven months in, Joe has created a border crisis, renewed our dependence on Arab oil, empowered the Taliban, and freed ISIS-K prisoners. After his party loads socialist indulgences (e.g. universal childcare) atop Medicare and Social Security, the US will be a sitting duck.
A Bad Commander in Chief Invites Aggressors
I want a president to not rob our defense to fund his entitlement programs while President Xi plans World War III. Biden should realize China’s COVID release exposed how the US responds to bio weapons, PLA jets probing Taiwan’s airspace reveal how our Navy responds to a future invasion, and Chinese engineers are safely touring Afghanistan to buy rare earth minerals. Try fighting the next big war without laptops. Mind you, Taiwan is China’s top target in the First Island Chain.
Even if Xi doesn’t launch the next world war, Biden has handed Al Qaeda and ISIS a base in Afghanistan and left them aircraft, armored vehicles, assault rifles, body armor, drones, grenade launchers, and night vision goggles (source: NY Post). Israel and the Gulf States now face Iran-backed terror brigades, trained in a rogue nation and armed with modern US weapons. Biden “humiliated his Western allies” and showed “their impotence,” according to British MP Rory Stewart.
Biden’s Incompetence Creates a White House Divided
I want a president to not pass the buck. Biden smiled at his “I made the decision” moment in July, before the worst death toll in Afghanistan in ten years. Thursday, it took a pointed question for him to say, “I bear responsibility for fundamentally all that’s happened of late” – after repeating “consensus” and “constant contact” with his advisors ad nauseam. Now, three advisors have leaked to POLITICO that “U.S. officials in Kabul gave the Taliban a list of names of American citizens, green card holders and Afghan allies.”
Confronted with this, Biden said, “yes, there have been occasions like that.” In fact, there was no “consensus” to end a “forever war” simply by leaving, or a “best” plan that pulled US soldiers out before US citizens, abandoned a fortified dual-runway air base (Bagram), and left allies and armaments behind. “Key participants” told the New York Times that Biden’s poor judgments and calculations caused the chaos and deaths. As always, morale and loyalty are the first to flee the battlefield.
Weak Leadership Invites Divided Government
The GOP will exploit Biden’s failure, and vulnerable Democrats can’t support it. Even before Kabul, Biden’s popularity was in a free fall, because he did not cure COVID. In early August, House Democrats told him polling in 58 swing districts predicted mid-term trouble – “if the elections were held today, we would lose” – and multiple polls found as many voters want the GOP to run Congress as want Democrats.
USA Today now has Biden’s overall approval at 41%. NBC has Harris’s approval at 37%. 86.2% of non-Democrats say the US is on the wrong track. 55% of Democrats say Biden botched Afghanistan (source: YouGov). Republicans won’t let him blame Trump – not after he reversed every other Trump plan, such as Remain In Mexico. So, how does Biden enact legislation? And if he cannot enact legislation, what good is this president to his own party?
Jimmy Carter Was the Last Democrat to Flop in Europe
NATO allies, pact-bound to join the invasion, were caught off guard by Biden’s midnight withdrawal. They resent not being trusted with the plan or having time to remove their citizens. French MP Nathalie Loiseau: “We thought America was back. In fact, America withdraws.” EU leaders are not thrilled about taking in lots of Afghan refugees – not when they’re losing votes to right-wing nationalists. Czech president Milos Zeman: “By withdrawing, the Americans have lost their status of global leader.”
This is a significant loss for Joe Biden, who claimed Donald Trump had killed America’s standing in Europe and promised to work “hand in hand” with NATO allies. Put this in CEO context. President Biden was elected to turn around the mess created by his predecessor, and he has clearly not done so – not at home (COVID) and not abroad (China). So, why should Europe’s chief executives respect or trust Joe Biden?
Don’t Feel Sorry for Joe Biden
I refuse to support or feel sorry for President Biden, a fork-tongued lightweight whose incompetence was diluted in Congress. I get that liberals feared and loathed Trump, but give us Michael Bloomberg, who’s at least competent. Look how fast Biden’s failures are accruing and accept that it won’t get better. At 78-years-old, he’s clearly in decline – and this is the wrong time to have the wrong man in the Oval Office.
The view here is that leaders at home and abroad see what 74,000,000 Trump voters see, triggering a commitment to protect America and its interests. I am comforted by a 6-3 conservative high court, 27 Republican governors, 50 Republican senators, 213 House Republicans, and a conservative British prime minister – trusting them to limit the damage President Biden does before the mid-terms take the gavel away from Nancy Pelosi. Oh, and God bless and keep America.
Thousands will get slaughtered by the Taliban if we don’t somehow devise a plan to get them out before we leave. These are all things the administration has failed to do. I know that because the people on the ground are telling me.
