Real Americans!

If the 4-day conventions differentiate each party’s core values, then Democrats stand for wishes and Republicans for results. Compared to Trump’s production quality, the visual anarchy of Biden’s event is a tell to voters who care about results. The DNC aired a pity party, wishing cops and billionaires away. In contrast, the big-tent GOP aired success stories. Admit it, Jon Ponder’s pardon touched your heart.

Nancy Pelosi called Republicans “enemies of the state” Monday. Really? Not when cancer-survivor Natalie Harp is alive because Trump championed a right to try law, the President negotiated freedom for six hostages, and Parkland father Andrew Pollack praised Trump for new school-safety rules that undo Biden’s “restorative justice” failure. Even a Democrat mayor credited Trump’s trade and regulatory changes for bringing back Minnesota’s iron range. Nice try, Nancy.

If there’s an enemy of the state, it’s the DNC, whom Nikki Haley (R-SC) outed for their “fashionable claim that America is racist,” which she claimed “is a lie. America is not a racist country.” Trump’s friend, Herschel Walker, has “seen racism up close” and called “foul” on those who suggest a black man would have “a 37 year friendship with a racist.” Tim Scott (R-SC), the first black elected to both houses of Congress, explained his family had gone from illiteracy and picking “cotton to Congress in one lifetime.”

Biden was dope-slapped by black politicians, who noted no return on black votes for Democrats. Kim Klacik (R-MD) dissed their betrayal of Baltimore and Joe Biden for believing “we can’t think for ourselves.” She was echoed by Vernon Jones (D-GA): “We are a free people with free minds.” Daniel Cameron (R-KY) scolded, “Mr. Vice President, look at me. I am black [and] we are not all the same, sir. I am not in chains, my mind is my own, and you can’t tell me how to vote because of the color of my skin.” POW!

Continuing the theme of REAL enemies of the state, Melania Trump and Nick Sandman called out the so-called liberals in the media. The First Lady explained her husband’s brand of honesty: “Donald Trump makes no secret about how he feels about things…whether you like it or not.” Good, I am bored to tears by endless media fact-checkers: I want to know a politician’s position and expect “alternative facts” from both sides – especially Democrats.

Nick Sandmann, the Covington Catholic school boy slandered by CNN and The Washington Post for smirking in a red MAGA hat at an aggrieved native American, explained his brush with cancel culture. The media giants settled rather than stand trial. Guilty! And, after airing his RNC speech, CNN proved its bias. Joe Lockhart tweeted, “a snot nose entitled kid from Kentucky.” Jeff Yang tweeted, “you were [not] an innocent victim of a cruel media.”

Meanwhile, the forward-looking S&P and NASDAQ set new highs, July orders for durable goods leaped 11.2% over June, and housing sales are crushing all expectations – because middle-to-upper-class Americans have already rebounded (and guess who votes?). And, when not covering the RNC, legacy media were airing footage of burning, looting and shooting in Democrat-led Kenosha, Wisconsin. Hmm? Kim Klacik is right about Democrats: they suck at their jobs.
