Better the Devil we know!

Please allow him to introduce himself. He’s a man of wealth and – – maybe the Donald has taste, but he’s still the most misunderstood and mistreated president of the modern era. Consider John Bolton’s tell-all book (one more Trump hire to bite the hand). He hopes to make hay while Democrats hate like this and RINOs fear like that, but could the book possibly tell us what we don’t already know?

Because Bolton, Kelly, Mattis and Tillerson never understood the Trump presidency, they’ve gone public with half-truths about Trump (the man). For context, look at the Carter presidency; a referendum on White House betrayal by Lyndon Vietnam War Johnson and Richard Watergate Nixon. In 1976, voters zigged to a Southern Baptist and his I’ll never lie to you campaign.

The 2016 elections was a Forgotten American referendum on a situation created by Clinton-Bush-Obama. There shouldn’t be a Trump presidency – not in most years – but over-regulated small business owners and under-employed workers voted for a kick-ass entrepreneur to end the status-quo. This presidency is about a mandate – not a man – to save small businesses from over-regulation and working-class families from wage deflation.

Hillary Clinton was the DC calendar girl with knowledge and politesse, and she lost because voters did not want the predictable. Trump is 100% unpredictable, which is why Bolton and other so-called experts smear him with half-truths. A US president is expected to know the UK is a nuclear power and Finland is not part of Russia, so Bolton views Mr. Trump as dumb and dangerous. Trump says he gave a “washed up” Bolton another chance (and Bolton flopped).

When reading Washington tell-alls, consider the source. Trump fired John Bolton and, in Washington, a poisoned pen retaliates with embarrassing smears. I’m sure Bolton is angry: less so that he’s credible. For example, the London Sunday Times reported in 2005 that Bolton ordered and received the now-discredited “fact sheet on the yellowcake uranium” justifying the invasion of Iraq. Now his book claims Putin “can play Trump like a fiddle.” Except as NSA, Bolton claimed he saw “[no] evidence of that.”

Guess who believes Bolton 100% now? Joe Biden, who filibustered in 2005 against Bolton becoming UN ambassador (in Washington, truth is mostly a matter of political convenience). Democrats and their media cronies will believe any source of Trump dirt – and the more belief-defying, the better. Here’s how jobs work in the real world: one must be of value to the boss. Bolton and Tillerson didn’t work out. Barr and Pompeo did. Hmm.

The Trump presidency is not supposed to be “presidential” or “diplomatic” or “by the book.” The forgotten Americans lived through 24 years of that (1992-2016): they wanted that You’re Fired! guy that called out China, Mexico and NATO allies. They wanted “the book” ripped up and “the swamp” drained. They voted to restore their American Dream and don’t care what Bolton thinks. He wasn’t on their ballot.
